Real Time PCR test for the evaluation of the predisposition to type I diabetes mellitus by the determination of HLA class II alleles DRB1*04 and DQB1*06:02. The kit consists in 8 Real Time PCR mixes. In the case of subjects carrying the DRB1*04 allele in association with the DQB1*03:02 (DR4-DQ8) the kit should be used in succession to DiabeGen – I° step (ref 9192). The results are analyzed with specific interpretative forms or can be entered in the DiabeGen software. The system evaluates both the predisposition and the protection against the pathology.
